Get creative with coiling! This basketry technique consists of wrapping yarn, floss, string, or fibers around a length of cord, and anchoring the layers with a stitch as your work takes shape. Learn how to create a coiled basket base, and then wind and stitch your way into a three-dimensional bowl or basket shape.
In this class, create a miniature basket, a perfect bedside rest for jewelry, or as an aesthetically pleasing receptacle for collecting small items like loose change or rogue desk supplies.
Ages 21+ , well-behaved dogs are welcome in Sociable’s Tap Room. Pre-registration is recommended, but drop-ins are welcomed to join!
This class is located at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Parking is available in the lot in front of their building. We encourage participants to support Sociable and purchase a cider, seltzer, beer, or NA beverage when you come for class!
