In anticipation of Textile Center’s upcoming Garage Sale, we’re eager to share a series of sustainable and scrap-busting techniques. Learn how to creatively use your smallest fiber scraps with the art of wet felting. The teensiest bits of thread, yarn, and fabric can create a speckled texture when felted together with wool roving. Join us at Sociable Cider Werks to learn how to transform your fiber scraps into confetti-speckled beads, useful for jewelry, diffusers, garlands, and more!
All materials for this event are provided- including scraps, although we welcome you to bring your own scraps to work with. Ages 21+ , well-behaved dogs are welcome in Sociable’s Tap Room. Pre-registration is recommended, but drop-ins are welcomed to join!
This class is located at Sociable Cider Werks, 1500 Fillmore St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Parking is available in the lot in front of their building. We encourage participants to support Sociable and purchase a cider, seltzer, beer, or NA beverage when you come for class!
